Public - they sure like vinegar

Maybe it was just the way I ordered?

I guess my favorite thing was the glazed eel salad appetizer with quail eggs, beets and cucumbers in a vinaigrette.

The "Tasmanian sea trout", although delicious in itself with a salty, crispy seared skin, was served on some more beets that were so vinegary I could barely eat them.

And the mascarpone mousse with rhubarb on a merengue was drizzled with, you guessed it, balsamic vinegar.
