Thank you all for your birthday dinner suggestions. I'd like to try one of these I think, and am curious for you to weigh in re which is better (i.e., tastier and a better value for what you get).
I went on the websites for both but unfortunately, providence only lists a partial menu (unless they only have 5 dishes) and does not list the tasting menu price (do you know what it is?).
Sona's was informative, exhaustive, and listed prices, but the dishes were maybe a little too crazy -artistry on steroids. Also, I saw a number of crunchy pigs feet, pickles tongues and the like, of which I am not a fan, and I hesitate to go if these types of things are a large part of the tasting menu. Are they?
