Providence: Big Fish to close, replaced by BBQ place

As is already being much discussed on the dining section of the providence.urbanplanet.org site, here's the news as quoted from foodserviceeast.com:

"PROVIDENCE, RI - John Elkhay, owner of the Chow Fun Food Group dinnerhouses, reports the "best first quarter ever" following "a very good year" in 2006. His Chinese Laundry restaurant is coming along and he'll be closing Big Fish, a seafood concept, and replacing it with Rick's Roadhouse. The new operation with lower price points - think $5 and $6 sandwiches - will offer jumbo Margaritas, barbecue, steaks and burgers, he says. Boston operators and barbecue mavens, Andy Husbands and Ed Doyle, are consultants on the concept."
