I read in the Post's food section today about the latest entry in NYC's specialty restaurant craze (Grilled Cheese NYC, Rice, Risotteria, Hiro's, Soy...etc.). I hate to fuel the PR machine but I do love rice pudding.
"Rice to Riches" is going to be in Soho and serve only rice pudding in various inventive(or confused pineapple-basil, root-beer?) flavors. I hope it lives up to it's initial PR hype.
They're claiming it will be ultra high quality. I'm looking forward to sampling the pumpkin, pistachio-sage, eggnog and banana coconut flavors.
