We'll be spending 13 days at Vassar with our 5-year-old (yes, he's very bright :-)).
Research on the home page turned up some places that seem nearby, inexpensive and good--Schemmy's, pizza at Napoli's and at the converted church in Rhinebeck, Mole Mole, the Vietnamese place off Raymond across from the bank, and The Would.
Most posts were a couple years old--are these places still around? Have new places turned up that we should try? Have I left anything cheap and wonderful out?
Also, has a new market opened up nearby or should we stock up on food in NYC to prepare in our kitchenette?
If you could also sneak in any info on fabulous things to do with a young child around there (low-tech, not commercial is great), we'd appreciate it.
