Potter's Restaurant Salad Dressing Recipe

Rardo | Mar 13, 2012 02:27 AM

Hi everyone,

I'm new to chowhound. I'm trying to find the salad dressing recipe from Potter's Restaurant in Uniontown PA. The salad dressing has a unique taste something like a vinegar/oil base with some other ingredients.
I currently live in Pittsburgh PA, but I am originally from the Uniontown area.

Potter's Restaurant puts the dressing on their house salad which is primarily iceberg lettuce, canned beets, a few chopped tomatoes, and a little white onion. The unique taste comes from the dressing alone. There don't seem to be any visible seasonings in the dressing. I'm hoping someone from the Uniontown area, (Fayette County), can help me. I haven't had any luck from the restaurant since this is a family recipe.

Thanks for any help you can provide....
