Okay, so when you hear of a hotel near an airport, especially a Four Points, rave reviews aren't necessarily expected. HOWEVER, I do give MAJOR props to the Four Points for their beer selection. T.H. Brewsters is the name of their "beer lounge." The ambience, in Zagat scoring method, would probably only get a 10 at best. But it's their beer that will keep you there. SEVERAL hard-to-find, older Belgians (big liter sizes, which will cost you) as well as the regular 12 oz. ish bottles, plus all sorts of US microbrews, Austrian, German, Czech beers...I think our sampling ranged from a Duvel double bock to a Samichlaus (Austrian) to the Hoegarden to Czechvar. I believe they even brew a few of their own at TH Brewsters. Apparently they have beer and jazz every Tuesday night, and though we only ate the complimentary pretzel rods, the food at tables surrounding us looked quite good, portion sizes large, and prices reasonable...all decent compliments to some outstanding beers.
So, if you have a taste for good beers, but don't need to be sitting in some hip, posh establishment in which to enjoy them, head on down. The hotel also offers validated (read: complimentary for 2 or 3 hours, I forget) parking.
DON'T go there expecting fantastic ambience. DO go there expecting a lot of flight crews, and some OUTSTANDING beers that you can't find most other places.
