Pls Help Identify a Place in DC - Dinner for 25

Hi, could you please help out a fellow chow from LA? I'm attending an NIH convention in Wash DC in late April. At this annual event, held in different cities each yr, our clinical research group (approx 25-30 doctors, nurses, admins) routinely gets together for a nice dinner. Because we don't have a lot of funds, we would like to find a place that could provide a nice dining area (separate or not), a great menu to accommodate various tastes, limited to roughly $35/per person, food only (wine extra).

Last yr in Chicago we went to Mon Ami Gabi and had a private room for 30 with 3 courses (3 different hors d'oeuvres, 1 salad, 3 different entrees served family style) for $33/per person (not including wine). The prior year we went a fun place in Baltimore where we had the entire balcony to ourselves.

Could the local chows help me identify a short list of great places for me to follow-up on? We're looking for Thurs 4/28/05 around 7pm, so time is closing in on us. BTW, we will be based at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel so somewhere close by or that's not a horrendous cab ride from there would be best. Thanks a lot for any guidance you can provide!
