Heading to Charleston from NYC, looking for a mix of food experiences. We have plenty of fancy fusion in NYC, so we are looking for some "authentic local" favors.
We arrive Monday night, leave Thursday. We will have a rental car one day, Wednesday.
I get tired of fancy and expensive pretty quickly, so we need a mix.
So far we have Peninsula Grill for our "welcome to town" splurge, and Husk for lunch on Tuesday, there were a lot of things about that menu I liked, and no dinner reservations were available.
My husband us more hardcore on seafood than I am, but I do like fish. Also sometime we like to eat late.
Should I cancel Peninsula?
Tomato shed sounds appealing.
Berthas or Martha Lou's?
Is Hominy worth it?
Also we might want a lighter dinner after Husk at 2 pm.
