Dim sum at Triumphal Palace in Alhambra. Love, love, LOVE the pork belly. Most things are better than good, it's clean and, IMO, priced fairly.
Tried our first ever Korean of any type at the hole-in-a-wall Korean BBQ (sic- should be grill) Soot Bull Jeep in K-town. What a smoky place! Wear old clothes you don't mind ruining but the food was very enjoyable. Surprisingly pricey but I guess it's the meat and help.
Took my son to Opamp for some technical book shopping and stopped in Westwood for some Italian at Tanino. My son had a very good penne prosciutto vodka sauce and I had an average risotto with crab and artichoke but didn't taste (or see)much crab. Bread and ice tea were excellent and the interior space is over the top.
