I'm flying into Seatac from Europe and expect to be thoroughly jetlagged (read: wide fucking awake at 3am). I'm staying at some no-tell motel near the airport, but I figure I'll be ready to catch a bus into the city no later than 6am. I will have only a shorttime to spend (until about 2pm) in Seattle and plan to concentrate on Pioneer Square.
Can anyone recommend a decent breakfast spot in Pioneer Square that opens early? It doesn't have to be much, but a decently brewed pot of tea sure would be sweet.
After poking around for a while, I'd like to indulge in some Asian for lunch as I never get decent Asian where I live in Europe. Any good Asian in Pioneer Square? I don't really care what kind of Asian, so long as it kicks ass.
And since I know next to nothing about Seattle, maybe someone could tell me if Chinatown is adjacent to Pioneer Square or not, and whether it's worth visiting? If it is adjacent to Pioneer Square, then I'd happily go there for lunch to get fantastic Asian.
I'll be arriving by bus and thereafter will be getting around on foot preferably. Location details would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for any tips.
