Highlight was a pepper crab, very fresh, extremely sweet crab meat. Good peppery sauce, a balance of sweetness and heat (very mildly spicy by local standards).
Pleasant melon and pork soup.
Lovely steamed razor clams, topped generously with garlic and scallions.
Lemongrass, chilli and other spices play into the steamed fish (impeccable steaming, very fresh, likely from the tank) with "thai" flavour. Another sauce with a pleasant balance of sweetness and mild heat.
Perfect broccoli with mushrooms, in a dark mushroomy sauce.
Good taro "mud" with gingko nuts and pumpkin, appropriately paired with a iron goddess of mercy (tieguanyin) tea.
