What size container is a "pint" of sour cream? I have an old pie recipe that calls for a pint of sour cream and figured that if a liquid pint is 16 fluid ounces, then it would probably be the 16 oz net weight size. But I couldn't shake the feeling that it might be the little 8 oz size. I ended up using the 16 oz and the pie was very full and came close to overflowing. But it baked up beautifully and tasted great, so maybe 16 oz was right. Was it?
