A few years ago we went to the CIA for a tour and to dine. While there we had the absolute best apple pie. I've thought of that pie for years. And then I found out about the holiday pie making class that they offer. I signed up and the date is quickly approaching.
I'm excited, but also wondering if others have taken the class AND now can make an outstanding apple pie. Translation: am I going to really be able to recreate that pie? Or am I doomed to using frozen crusts?
