Picholine

Haven't been here in probably a year or so, not sure why!

They offer 7-9 sanwiches, and salads on the other side of the menu. Simple things like smoked turkey with Monterey Jack and red pepper mayo, or the special today, which was a very fresh Caprese sandwich. All sandwiches on La Brea bread rolls, and they come with a side salad. We had two sandwiches and a large bottle of sparkling pink lemonade for about $25.00. I'd imagine a to go order would make a REALLY nice picnic.

Of course we popped next door for hand made chocolates, they were making them as we arrived. I have only tasted the lavender but a mint truffle and some tea infused ganache chocolates await my next craving.

Service is wonderfully friendly and chatty and there are more tables inside now that the food shop is just about gone.

It's located on First near Virgil, a little tricky to find but worth it.
