Peculiarly addictive chocolate non-fat milkshakes

As the weather has been (or, rather, was and now seems to have stopped) getting warmer, I've developed what I think is a rather peculiar addiction to the chocolate milkshakes at Better Burger. Better Burger is the healthy, organic, etc. fast-food spin-off of Josie's at 38th (I think) and 3rd. I've not tried most of their food menu, but in general I've been unimpressed. I'll take my french fries FRIED, thank you very much. [Really, I should have known better than to get baked fries. Sheesh.] It's always mobbed so maybe I'm missing something on the food.

I've only tried one other flavor of the non-fat milkshake, banana, which seemed pretty off to me; they also have caramel and vanilla and soy-milk shakes.

But . . . oh . . . those chocolate milkshakes. They're thick and fluffy with an incredibly satisfying mouth-feel. Not that sweet. Really fresh-tasting milk. Decent chocolate flavor. Not cheap, of course ($3.50 or $4.50 I believe). But the perfect mid-afternoon summer snack to vary with ice cream. Every warm day, I've found myself walking down there; beautifully, I can finish a small one in exactly the amount of time it takes me to walk home.

But, somehow, I have this feeling like these milkshakes are talking to me and me alone. The one friend I took wasn't impressed with them. I've never seen anyone else order one. That's why it seems peculiar to me. Then again, I don't remember the last time I had a milkshake ANYWHERE that wasn't a McDonald's or the like. Maybe any decent milkshake would appeal to me. So, what about it? Are these milkshakes my own thing or do others like them? Are there better ones to be found? If only it wasn't pouring rain, I'd head out for one right now . . .
