Pearsons Texas BBQ- Now The Ranger BBQ

Went to Legends bar to get the best brisket in nyc. Found out that Pearsons had pulled out suddenly from the Queens location and that Pearson is out of the buisness all together. To my surprise the same PIT MASTER from Pearsons is still there his name is Angel. The food was just as good they have more selections including burgers and fantastic steaks. I had the brisket it was just as good or better than before, a friend had the ribs said they were ok nothing spectacular, better than the norm though for BBQ in New York. My other friend had a skirt steak he said it was one of the best he ever had, not on the menu but a special for the day. The cream spinach was tremendous. The 4th person at our table had the 12oz. burger he raved about the flavor and the juicy burger but hated the roll it was on.

I hear the person that opened this up is a worker from Strip House in Manhattan. I think this place is going to be a sleeper and will turn out as a favorite, they have some problems to work out like the waitress staff and the timely delivery of the food. But with the taste of the steaks , burgers and the PIT MASTER from Pearsons the variety will be nice.

Barbecue is back in Queens with a little added specials.
