Just moved back to the west coast after a brief stint in Boston. After 2 years of sparse, inauthentic, and genuinely BAD Mexican food, I'm dying for a real-deal taqueria. I'm not talking about oxymoronic upscale places or anywhere that serves frozen margarita slushies - I'm talking carnitas, machaca, or lengua in palm-sized corn tortillas (read: La Taqueria or Farolito in SF, South Beach Grill in SD). I've already seen a bunch of places, but I need an insider scoop here... who do I need to try? Thanks!
