I understand this year's batch of the legendary Rogue River Blue is in the hands of distributors and set for sale some time next week. I am also told Rogue quadrupled production of its namesake cheese this year.
Any cheese heads out there who have sampled already and can compare? Massive production increase always risks quality loss.
On the chance the stuff is still awesome (salty, sweet, bluey and gooey), do the rules of this forum allow me to ask if two or three others want to split a wheel? I am reasonably certain I can get one wholesale.
