in your opinion, which PDX restaurant would be best for a very special occasion, party of 6-8? (it's a wedding dinner)
we love Lovely Hula Hands; their food is delicious, so we've considered going there. however, there's something about the atmosphere that just doesn't make me feel like lingering, I always feel a little rushed there (maybe it's the small dining room, close quarters, I dunno).
there are many top restaurants mentioned here that I'm aware of, but have never been to. so I'm open to other suggestions.
we are looking for excellent food *and* atmosphere--someplace special where a leisurely intimate meal could be enjoyed with good friends.
