I know there is a discussion of Portland fish and chips on this board somewhere but I can't seem to find it. So from some searching and my memory, here are places that I think were recommended:
Horse Brass (best British style, but smoky)
Moon and Sixpence (good but also smoky)
Laurelwood (I actually tried 'em here in March -- excellent!)
Are there any others I should be aware of, particularly in SE?
We're debating going to the Horse Brass--the British style is very alluring, and the smoke is very not alluring.
