The industrious folks behind Noodle Planet, Boba World, and the now defunct East/West Sandwich Shop have launched a new concept in the formerly Boba World/East-West space on Westwood Blvd. in Westwood Village.
They moved their Boba operation into the SE corner of Noodle Planet, so they now have three distinct operations going on in two linked storefronts.
They let East West fade away (sadly, I thought. it was good for a while, then the ingredient quality, execution, and serving size went down, while prices went up. bad signs all.), and have now replaced it with something called PastaGetti.
The menu features Italian-oriented pastas, sandwiches, pizzas (thin crust, takes less than 10 min to make to order, supposedly), and more.
I popped my head in to look and thought it looked worth a try, though I didn't have the 30 minutes it would have taken to sit down and give it a fair hound-shake.
Has anyone been to PastaGetti yet? If so, speak up. If not, I'll happily take one for the team next week and report back.
