Paris: Chez Maitre Paul Slipping

I am sorry to report that a recent experience (last night) at Chez Maitre Paul in Paris revealed serious lapses in service. My companion also complained that his chicken in wine (sort of their version of coq au vin, with white wine) wasn't up to snuff. Service was perfunctory at best.

On a positive note, go to Le Hangar, right next to the Doll Museum and near Pompidou Center for a great meal at a good price. Especially the pan-fried foie gras served atop potatoes pureed with olive oil. Decadence at its best!
