Has anyone tried it? It's located in N Raleigh in Lafayette Village at Falls & Honeycutt. I noticed that Greg Cox mentioned it as being open and, since I still forlornly search for a good casual Italian restaurant, I checked out the menu.
I honestly don't know if I can forgive them (or any other restaurant) for serving "evoo" (sic). Use of that phrase should be punishable by thirty lashes with a wet noodle. However, I also saw that, despite the fact that guanciale and pancetta appear elsewhere on the menu, bucatini al'Amatriciana is described as made with bacon. Bracciole di maiale is described as a pork chop, and a sugo di cinghiale is called beef short ribs.
So, despite those lapses that seem like warning flags to me, has anyone tried it and what's your take on the food? The prices seem in line for the area, more or less. Please tell me my Italian restaurant has arrived.
