Panini - 'ino and Caffe Britti

Last weekend on my visit to NYC had lunch at a couple of panini bars and am happy to report that both were a hit! The first was 'ino which we went to after I had read about it online. The selection on offer was pretty extensive and the four of us each had a different type of panino and we all were extrememly pleased. The bread was of excellent quality as were the fillings. Two days later, wandering around Soho we stumbled upon Caffe Britti and decided we'd give it a try. It offers panini on different breads - ciabatta, focaccia and I can't remember the third. We were skeptical that it would match the panini we had at 'ino but were pleasantly surprised to see that they were just as tasty - different bread used and different combinations of fillings at a slightly lower price. We also found out that the owner of Caffe Britti moved to NYC from Italy seven years ago.
Anyway, both were excellent - reminiscent of the Autogrill in Italy. Now if only we could get a great espresso!
