Oysters at Fin

bst | Sep 28, 2004 09:39 AM

Has anybody tried the happy hour at Fin (19th St. just north of M St. NW)? They have 50 cent oysters on the half shell until 7 pm each night. I think it starts at 4 pm. Anyway, the oysters are big, meaty, flavorful Cheapeake Bay oysters that are a steal at 6 bucks a dozen. The service can be a little uneven at times but I think it's worth it. Other tasty happy hour items are the mussels in a tomato-caper-olive sauce, the calamari and the toasted bread chips with a white bean dip (this is free). Not really any good drink specials but if you love raw oysters that won't break the bank then try it out. Has anybody else tried this place?
