Planning a birthday dinner for myself (7-10 friends). I have read much on this board about the fun, campy environs of El Quijote, and want to have the dinner there.
I think this going to be a good choice for me (I want the lobster), but I think there are going to be others in my party who won't go for the lobster. I've read the rest of the food (minus the lobster and garlic bread) is only "eh."
This is not a group of Chowhounds... however, I don't want my reputation as "good restauarant picker" to be tarnished by potentially bad dinners of the non-lobster-eaters. Will they be sated, or is the rest of the food really THAT bad?
Opinions desired... thanks.
