I'm basically speechless. Just simply amazing food. The lamb skewers were amazing and extravagnatly spiced, just how I like them (though some may find them to well-spiced), and I could have eaten skewer after skewer.
And the pastry stuffed with ground lamb and diced veggies and the braising lliquid was amazing. The care that went into pressing out that pastry dough and the careful spicing in this one is simply beautiful.
Too badd the restaurant is really small, and when it gets busy there can be a long wait. But the atmoshpere is great, service caring, and the food is truly made with love. I think this is one of the best new restaurants that I have been to in 2010, I was almost in a fugue-state reverie and this tiny cafe on a busy stretch of the San Gabriel Valley.
