Moved a year ago from LA, and have been craving omakase along the lines of Sasabune, Echigo, Hirozen, Sushi Gen, Kanpai, etc. If you haven't been, warm (not hot) sushi rice, different types of nigiri (monkfish liver, tai, amaebi with fried head, etc.), all best eaten at the sushi bar. I've been to a couple of great sushi joints, but I'm looking for a spot to sit at the bar and watch a great sushi chef.
