Getting in at lunchtime, drop off bags @ hotel on strip. Is it realistic to try to grab a small bite and drink here, then there, then there; essentially a long tapas crawl? We'd plan on walking about (very comfortable with walking good distances in Vegas/dealing with Strip barriers/traffic). Or is it just more sensible to schedule a sit-down dinner?
Also, do restaurants/attractions tend to stay open on NY Day (I will call any that I'm particularly interested in, just want the gist)?
And, oysters: I know Palace Station, RM Seafood, Lakeside @ Wynn, Bouchon, maybe PJ Clarke's. I think we did Big Al's a few years ago, nice. Any new standouts/special recs?
