I fell in love with NY during a school exchange trip 30 years ago. I now live in Glasgow because it's the one UK town that reminds of New York!
Next year I'm planning to surprise my daughter with a food-based short break in the city to celebrate her 21st.
I'd be grateful for all suggestions of how to make this a real New York experience for her. I know I want to have a martini (yes, traditional, REAL martin!)somewhere, eat in Chinatown, vist a deli......and anything else you think makes New York eating unique!
Any tips on hotels and transport would also be really appreciated.
