A Note on Lems

I stopped by Lems today to pick up a slab of ribs to gnaw on whilw eatching football this afternoon and tonight.

For some reason, I aslked for an extra container of their "hot" barbeque sauce. When I got home, I dipped my finger in it to sample it, and much to my surprise found it more the flavor and consistency of a typical buffalo wing sauce that I make than barbeque sauce.

It was good. But, given the flavor of Lem's ribs, I expected something with more body. I guess it goes to prove something that an old barbequer down in North Carolina once told me: "Barbeque sauce is for people who don't know how to cook good meat."
