Noodle soup in Chinatown tonight?

y2000k | Nov 12, 2008 09:10 AM

I'm going to the Shubert theatre tonight, and figured I can get a cheap dinner in Chinatown beforehand.

I can't quite decide where to go. I like any type of noodle soup, as long as it's not too salty or too much MSG. I recently had pho at Xinh Xinh, so probably will pass on pho for tonight.

I am thinking of Penang. I have only been to the branch in Philadelphia, but I assume the Boston one also has the Tom Yum Seafood noodle soup?

Any other suggestions? I went to Hong Kong Eatery several months ago and had a BBQ pork (char siu) noodle soup. The pork was way too lean and dry and I totally regretted going there.

Oh, I'll be dining alone, if that makes any difference.
