Going to be taking my stepdaughter to Nobu to celebrate her 19th birthday in a few weeks. We've never been before, so would appreciate advice ...
When I call to confirm should I request any particular area of the restaurant? Is the a siberia to be avoided?
What about ordering? We've checked out the menu online and assume the way to go is either gettting the Omakase menu (which makes us a bit nervous - there will be three of us and we all have pretty different tastes - but maybe we should just go for it) ... or getting lots of small plates to share ... If we order a la carte, how many of the small plates should we plan on per person? I'm sure the "main courses" are good but they look boring as hell ... we're not going to Nobu just so we can order beef teriyaki!
Any advice on how we might plan our attack?
