I've been a huge fan of the red lentil soup at the Nile restaurant in Hyde Park ever since I was a student there ages ago. Unfortunately I don't get back there too often, but still have massive cravings for their soup! I asked the owner for the recipe once, but he didn't want to share it (fair enough!).
Now I'm pregnant and craving their soup madly! I've experimented and can't seem to get even close. It seems like a simple recipe, with a bit of garlic and cumin, maybe turmeric? Anyone have a recipe or hints?
