A nice non-Los Angeles Saturday lunch (with luggage) and cheese-filled pockets

An unexpected business trip to SF is giving me a free Friday night and Saturday day. I may or may not need to have my luggage with me. Office and hotel near Embarcadero.

When in SF, I generally stick to places that are as un-Los Angeles as possible. Favorites include Zuni Cafe, Tadich Grill, the Ferry Market for oysters and shopping, Jeanty at Jacks, Chez Panisse, etc.

I am not interested in anything Chinese/Japanese/ fusion/sushi nor anything from Mexico, Central or Latin America but could be persuaded by some unusual Asian. I get plenty of the above in LA.

I have also had excellent oysters and fresh Dungeness crab lately and will probably lunch at Tadich Grill on Friday. May instead try Swan Oyster Depot because can you really ever have too many oysters and crab, can you?

I will probably spend Saturday morning at the Ferry market which will more than likely leave me with pockets stuffed with cheese. I don't seem to be able to visit cities without stinking of cheese.

So, suggestions? Flexible in price. Bonus points for particularly good pastry. And thank you.
