Hi! Will be spending one night in Niagara Falls on Sunday May 4th with my wife and was hoping for some tips on restaurants. We will have one dinner (on Sunday) as well as a breakfast and a lunch on the following day before going to Ithaca. We are both very interested in food and work with wines. We appreciate most cuisines, but if possible would like to eat locally produced ingredients. Price is not a big concern, quality of food far more important, but I rather eat good bistro style food than mediocre fine dining. From having a quick search on restaurants in Niagara Falls my plan is dinner at Windows by Jamie Kennedy, breakfast at Regal Diner and lunch at Syndicate Brewery. I also had a look at The Rainbow Room by Massimo Capra and Falls Manor as alternatives. Are these good choices or can I do better?
A none food oriented question. As we only have one night we would very much like to get a hotel room with a view over the falls. From looking at the different options, prices seems to be quite similar in all the hotels that offers rooms with a view. Is there any of the hotels that stands out compared to the others in terms of view or comfortability?
All comments and tips are deeply appreciated.
