Finally, something different!
This is a brand-new prepared-food shop that just opened this weekend. It's in the spot that used to be the French bakery (in the Old Village, next to Michaels). They actually have a few tables indoors and will have a bunch out on the sidewalk when the weather gets warm again.
Anyway: the food. It's billed as "healthy global cuisine," 100% peanut free, with many gluten-free options. I was really happy to see all sorts of creative choices (barley "burgers," spicy Spanish pumpkin soup) as well as things like very good tabbouli. There were a dozen or more other options on Saturday, lots of vegetarian dishes but ahi tuna, chicken, and meat, too.
The owners are working hard and are obviously passionate about what they do. I wish them well. I'm just so happy to have a shop like this in the area.
I'll report back after I have a chance to try it again.
