Neptune Wonton Noodle in Richmond B.C.

We had some really great Chinese food, Hong Kong style I believe, in the town of Richmond, which is south of Vancouver B.C.

The place is Neptune Wonton Noodle, where they gave us 5 different menus to look at with too many dishes to decide from. We finally selected a won ton soup,
Chow fun pan-fried noodles with beef, ginger beef with pinapple and bell peppers, crispy chow mein (thinner egg noodles) with chicken and mushroom gravy, and eggplant and tofu hot pot. The wonton soup consisted of a light and flavorful broth with a well wrapped shrimp dumpling. The table sauces included an excellent roasted red chili oil and red vinegar, a brightening accompaniment for many of the dishes.

Everything was fantastic!! No msg, or at least undetectable, fresh, skillfully prepared and tasty! This place serves chinese food for chinese people with discerning tastes.

Next door is sister restaurant, Neptune Sharkfin. I visited about a year ago, and enjoyed some superior dim sum, unlike anything unavailable in Seattle.
