I bought six cookbooks this week and received one more in swap. I have no idea where I'm going to put these books because my shelves are jammed. Overflowing, really, sometimes organized two layers deep. And I have an easy dozen books shoved under my bed, where I stash them before falling asleep. I never feel bad having this many books, as long as I cook from them. Admittedly, there are some books from which I've never cooked. Others from which I've cooked, but it's been so long I barely even remember what I cooked. So, my goal, once again, is to try to cook at least a handful of recipes-- three, five, whatever--from these books.
Won't you join me in dusting off your old books, or tearing the plastic off your new ones, and cooking from them?
