Nashville Report - Burgers and BBQ

Travelling on a limited per diem, I tend to be attracted to less than white linen and fine crystal establishments.

In Nashville Hog Heaven BBQ is a great find. It's a small white cinder block building hiding behind the McDondalds on West End near centenial park. Thier dining room consists of a screened in porch with a couple of picnic tables. I had the pulled pork with white bbq sauce, which was fantastic. With a sides of greens and white beans, that were both excellent. On another visit I had thier bbq chicken sandwich, which was just ok.

Nearby was Rotier's, which looks and feels like a dive college bar. I had thier famous hamburger on french bread with a side of onion rings, both were great.

Fat Mo's in another great burger joint. The burgers were huge and delicious. By huge I mean "you can feel your cholesteral count move" huge, but tasty enough to justify it.
