Went to Margot Cafe tonight in Nashville after sifting through the posts on this board--Zola (sp?) and Boundr'y were booked so we thought we'd give this place a try. It was *excellent*--highly reccommended.
Nice, warm space, good service. We started out with olives marinated with oranges and fennel and a roasted veggie antipasto. Olives were very tasty, antipasto nice but not extraordinary. Then farfalle with shrimp/tomatoes/capers/other stuff which I can't remember now and I had the veggie plate (string beans, swiss chard, and potato croquette-type thing). Good wine and cocktail selection, btw.
Downsides: Deserts were OK (shared a lemon tart--sortof ordinary) and coffee was on the weak side.
Just wanted to share my experiences with The Board after benefitting from its expertise!
