Stopped in here last weekend. Shared a Ron Bennington stuffed cupcake, a combination of peanut butter, butterscotch and chocolate. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and butterscotch shavings on top, peanut butter center. Sounds great, right? Promising idea, poor execution. Too much frosting and filling. Not enough cake. The cake was thankfully moist, what little you got of it. Chocolate frosting was lacking something, not sure what. Tasted a little mass produced to me.
Sweet service and cute atmosphere (tables and chairs! swings to sit on at the counter! board games). I liked the spinkles in the sugar canisters by the utensil station. I want to like it more, so perhaps a non-stuffed cupcake in the future.
Anybody else been?
