I'm traveling to Seattle for the first time next week, for work. I would usually spend a lot of time researching where to eat, but this trip is super last minute.
So - any advice about where to eat? Also, I still haven't booked a hotel, so any hotel suggestions near good food options would also be appreciated. I'm in my late 20's, so I'm open to younger neighborhoods / restaurants. I'll need to reserve a conference room, though, so no B&Bs or inns.
A few details - I'm most likely traveling alone, so places where I can sit at the bar or otherwise comfortably eat alone would be great. Hopefully places where I don't need a reservation since I'm unsure of my exact schedule. I have a gluten intolerance, but it usually doesn't stop me from eating at most places. But I don't need bakery or pizza suggestions!
I have a $72 a day per diem, and I'd generally like to stay around that price point for lunch + dinner - so affordable places, please. I'll probably splurge on just one meal.
The restaurant scene in Seattle is overwhelming, so thanks for helping me make some choices!
