Where can I find high-end Mexico CITY food in LA?
I have in mind that wonderful soup/sauce made with the fungus from corn, and several other dishes that I only seem to find in the best restaraunts in Mexico City. The cooking at Aguila y Sol in Ciudad, for example.
I've found tons of great regular Mexican restaraunts in LA, but they are mostly just upscale streeet food -- nothing like the the best of Mexico City. (And yes I've been to Ciudad in LA several times, and it is fine but not great, IMHO.)
