So I went to Fairway to get Mexican cheese and they didn't have any. I asked the guy behind the cheese counter (he was making mozzarella balls in hot water for the amusement of the customers) "What happened? You used to have a good selection of Mexican cheeses." He said, "they closed". I said, "Who closed? The company that makes the cheese?" He said, "I don't know, but that's what I heard".
So since I can't get quesos mexicanos at Fairway anymore, what are the remaining best sources in the Chinatown area, Midtown, the UWS or Harlem or anywhere in Manhattan?
