Mesa Grill - a less-than-great experience

Had a disappointing dinner at Mesa Grill last week. Have enjoyed many delicious lunches and dinners in the past - but last week was a letdown. Seated in the balcony area, which is badly lit, with cracked walls and a general "second class" feeling. Bread took forever to arrive. Grilled squid appetizer incredibly skimpy for $13, and drowned in a sickly-sweet vinaigrette. Companion's tuna tartare also very skimpy and rather tasteless. Entree of seabass was drowned in similar vinaigrette, and accompanied by a charred corn husk filled with what tasted like a half-cup of brown sugar with some grits stirred in. Dessert was also disappointing - crisp envelopes filled with key lime goo and cloying coconut ice cream. At those prices I expect more. Did I just hit a bad night / make bad choices, or have others noticed Mr. Flay phoning it in?
