Over the years we've been to Merriman's Waimea several times and have almost always enjoyed our meals there. The last time we were there the chef was Allen Hess and the food was great. Now that Mr. Hess has moved on to the Mauna Lani, I understand that Scott Lutey is now the executive chef there.
Can anyone comment on Chef Lutey and what he brings to Merriman's Waimea? We will be visiting there for a milestone anniversary dinner and would be interested to know what to expect.
