We recently dined at Meritage and it was the best dining experience we've had since moving a year ago to Boston from New Orleans. We had four appetizer portions (each $16 and generous portions) under the "light white" menu. Our favorite: scallops in grapefruit butter, but the lobster, rabbit, and swordfish dishes were also delicious. The four dishes paired very nicely with our waiter's wine recommendation, a reasonably priced sauv. blanc from New Zealand. We had mentioned that it was our five-year anniversary and they presented us with a beautiful complimentary dessert plate and comped our cocktails. The view was fantastic, service excellent, and food outstanding. It's pricey, but worth it.
