Yesterday I was stranded on the outskirts of Los Angeles in a culinary wasteland and ended up at McDonald's for my favorite Ronald McDonald fix: a Filet-O-Fish sandwich and a hot-fudge sundae with peanuts.
Strangest thing was, the person in front me was trying to order a McRib with cheese! The clerk wouldn't allow it, but it did get me thinking about this combo.
Anyone ever tried a McRib with cheese?
I was almost tempted to just get a McRib to-go and slap my own cheese square on it at home to see what it would be like ... but the thought of a soggy, cold McRib was a bit frightening.
